In view of the importance of the personal information security of our users, we take security measures in accordance with the laws and regulations to protect the security and controllability of user information. For this purpose, Shenzhen Jingwu Technology Co., Ltd.(hereinafter “we/us” or “Vactidy”) has hereby formulated this Vactidy Privacy Policy (hereinafter “this Policy”). Please read this Policy carefully before using our products or services. 1.1 Personal information: information recorded electronically or otherwise that may be used alone or in combination to identify or reflect the activities of specific individuals.
1.2 Smart devices: non-standard computing equipment produced or manufactured by Vactidy which has a man-machine interface and may transmit information via a wireless network, including smart cleaning devices, healthy living devices, and smart kitchen appliances.
1.3 Apps: mobile applications developed by Vactidy which may help end users to remotely control Vactidy smart devices and access the Internet of Things (IoT) platform.
2.1 Information you have voluntarily given us:
To offer you our services, you are required to provide the personal information necessary for such services. We will not sell your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes; if you fail to provide your personal information, we are unable to offer the corresponding products or services.
2.1.1 When you sign up, we will collect your account name and contact details such as your e-mail address, phone number, user name and login credentials. During your interaction with our products, we will further collect your nickname, avatar, country code, language preference, time zone, etc. from your account.
2.1.2 When you use the feedback and suggestion features in our products, we will collect your e-mail address, phone number and feedback content so as to more promptly address your problems and device failures.
2.1.3 Access to location information
When you enable the location feature of your mobile device and use location-based services via system admin, we will collect and use your location information so that you can use Vactidy apps for network distribution with smart devices. In addition, when you use our specific products or services, subject to your consent, we will collect your real-time accurate or inaccurate geolocation data. You may disable location services on your mobile device to stop us from collecting your location information.
2.1.4 Access to camera/webcam
You may use this feature to scan codes in order to add family members, set personal avatars, upload customized recipes, upload device usage issues, etc. Please be aware that even if you have agreed to enable the camera/webcam, we do not receive your information unless you actively use the scan function to add family members, set personal avatars, upload customized recipes, upload device usage issues, etc.
2.1.5 Access to photo album (picture/video library)
You may use this feature to upload your photos/pictures/videos after enabling the photo album. You can also set your personal avatar and select photos/pictures of customized recipes or device usage issues. We will not recognize this information when you use it for features such as avatars; however, when you report device usage issues, we will locate them through the photos/pictures you upload.
2.1.6 Access to storage
We apply to you for this permission to ensure the stable operation of our apps. After enabling read/write in your device storage, we will read or write necessary information such as pictures, files, and crash logs from or to your device storage, allowing you to access features such as publishing or locally recording crash logs.
2.1.7 Access to message notification
We apply to you for this permission to push notifications to you about our products or services. In particular, when you purchase related services, we will send alerts to ensure that you receive real-time information.
You understand and agree that the aforesaid additional services require you to open access to your location information (geographic location), camera (webcam), photo album (picture library) and internal and external storage on your device so as to enable the collection and use of the relevant information. You may view the status of the aforesaid accesses one by one in your phone settings and decide whether to enable or disable them at your own discretion. Please note that by enabling any permission, you authorize us to collect and use the personal information required to provide you with corresponding services. If you disable/cancel a permission, we will no longer collect and use the personal information related to that permission, nor can we provide you with the services corresponding to that permission. However, your decision to disable any permission will not affect the collection and use of information previously obtained with your permission.
2.2 Information we collect automatically
2.2.1 Mobile device information
In order to ensure your normal use and maintain the normal operation of our services, improve and optimize our service experience, and ensure the security of your account, when you interact with our products, we will automatically collect your mobile device information such as the device model, operating system, device hardware serial number (a character string compiled into the device by the manufacturer as its unique identifier), Android ID, login IP address, wireless connection, operating system type and version, app version number, push notification identifier, log file and mobile network.
2.2.2 Usage information
When you interact with our apps, we will automatically collect usage information related to accessing, clicking, downloading, sending/receiving messages and other uses of our websites and services.
2.2.3 Log information
When you use our apps, the system exception log, registration exception log, login exception log, sharing exception log, unbinding exception log and binding exception log will be uploaded, including your IP address, language used, version of operating system, date or time of access, and operation steps.
2.2.4 Information on smart devices
Basic information: When you use smart devices connected to our products or services, we will collect basic information about your smart device such as the device name, ID, online status, activation time, firmware version, and upgrades.
2.3 Information collected by third-party partners
2.3.1 When a smart device is operating abnormally, a family member is added, or the device is shared, unshared or unbound, the relevant message will be pushed to your phone via a third-party SDK. We have access to the Umeng SDK+ push channel SDKs (such as Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, Vivo, Meizu) and will collect your mobile device information (IMEI/MAC/Android ID/IDFA/OpenUDID/GUID/SIM IMSI, etc.). The push channel SDKs need to collect device identifiers (IMEI/MAC/Android ID/IDFA/OpenUDID/GUID/SIM IMSI, etc.) to uniquely identify the device and push messages to the user. Your geographic location is collected to identify push channels and improve the regional coverage of push notification. For more details, please refer to the privacy policy or related statements of the SDK operators.
2.3.2 When a smart device is operating abnormally, a family member is added, or the device is shared, unshared or unbound, the relevant message will be pushed to your phone via a third-party SDK. We have access to the Firebase SDK and will collect information such as your unique identifier, browser type and settings, device type and settings, operating system, mobile network information (including operator name and phone number) and app version number. We will also collect information about the interaction of your app, browser and device with our services, including the IP address, crash reports, system activity, request dates and times, and referring URL. 2.3.3 To provide you with interconnection services between IoT devices, we use the Tuya SDK in our apps to realize the basic features of our products and services. Without the integration of the Tuya SDK, you will not be able to realize the corresponding features of our smart products and services. Through the Tuya SDK service, the following features may be accessed:

We strictly abide by our agreement with users and all laws and regulations, and we use the collected information as required herein to provide you with better services.
Purpose of information use:
3.1 Services for you: We process your account and profile information, device information, usage information, location information and smart device information to provide the products or services that you request. The legal basis for such processing is to perform the contract between ourselves and you according to our terms of use.
3.2 Service improvement: We process your device information, usage information, location information and smart device information to ensure the functionality and security of our products and services, develop and improve our products and services, analyze our operational efficiency and prevent and track fraud or misuse. The legal basis for such processing is to perform the contract between ourselves and you according to our terms of use.
3.3 Non-marketing messages: We process your personal information in order to send you system messages, home messages and device messages. You may manage whether to receive such messages in the app [My] -> [Message Settings]. If you choose to disable push notifications, we will not continue to push such information to you.
3.4 Data analysis: To analyze the usage of our products and improve your user experience, we will analyze the data that you provide and report, promptly address your problems in the process of using our products and services, and analyze products or usage scenarios related to you, thereby bringing you a better and more convenient Vactidy experience.
4.1 Storage locations: We have three output storage centers, namely the China Data Center (China), Europe Data Center (Germany) and North America Data Center (United States). We store information based on the user’s place of registration.
4.2 Storage period: To provide you with better services, if you register to use our app and do not voluntarily cancel your account, we will keep your information and will not share it with other organizations or individuals except in the following cases:
4.2.1 As some features are entrusted to our partners to provide users with services, we may share some of your personal information with our partners. Please refer to Clause 2.3 of this Policy for details.
We provide you with the corresponding operation settings in product design. You may refer to the following guidelines for operation.
5.1 Access to your personal information: You may view your basic personal information such as your avatar, nickname, account number, place of registration, number of bound devices, and QR code through [My] -> [Personal Information] in our app.
5.2 View permissions/revoke authorization: You may view permissions such as location, camera/webcam, photo album (picture/video library), Bluetooth settings, and storage through [My] -> [Permission Settings] in our app. You can choose to open the system settings to revoke your agreed permissions.
5.3 Offer feedback: You may submit your valuable comments through [My] -> [Feedback] in our app, which will be processed in a timely manner.
5.4 Cancel account: You may cancel your account through [My] -> [Avatar] -> [Cancel Account] in our app. After successful cancellation, you will not be able to continue to log in and use the app.
5.5 In response to the aforesaid requests, you may be required to provide a written request or otherwise to prove your identity for the sake of security. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request. We will reply within 30 days.
According to the laws and regulations, we will not be able to respond to your request if:
(1) it is related to national security in various regions;
(2) it is related to public safety, public health and major public interests;
(3) it is related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial and execution of judgments, etc.;
(4) there is sufficient evidence that the subject of the personal information has subjective malice or abuse of rights;
(5) responding to your request will cause serious damage to the legitimate rights and interests of yourself or other individuals or organizations;
(6) it involves trade secrets.
We may revise this Policy in due course. When the terms hereof change, we will post a notice on this website before such changes take effect. We recommend visiting this page regularly for the latest information on our privacy practices.
We attach great importance to the protection of children’s personal information. If you are under the age of 13 (or the stipulated age in your region/country), you must obtain the written consent of your parents or legal guardian before using our services. We will protect children’s personal information in accordance with related regional, local or national laws and regulations. Please note that if we find we have collected children’s personal information without the prior consent of their verifiable parents or legal guardians, we will try to delete the related personal information as soon as possible.
